Configuration of Interlocked BPMs

This prodecure concerns interlocked BPM gain configuration. During the transient whereby the pilot is lost during the over injection, the interlocked BPMs could trigger a dump if they are set to HIGH gain.

In order to solve this issue, the configuration should be set as follows:

+ Configure RING = high IP6 = high (for probe beam) This is done in "BI CHECKS BEFORE INJECTION", "BACK TO INJECTION PROBE BEAM" and "RECONFIGURE EQUIPMENT FOR INJECTION" (last one in RETURN TO INJECTION FROM PREPARE RAMP.

+ Configure RING = low IP6 = low (for nominal beam injection, with over injection). This is done in "CONFIGURE EQUIPMENT FOR NOMINAL" which is called in INJECTION PHYSICS BEAM.

+ Configure RING = low IP6 = high (for the ramp and physics )This is done in "PREPARE RAMP 2015" in the sequence "SET BPM GAIN FOR RAMP"

In case you need to change the config manually, you can find all the options in "SELECT BPM GAIN RING AND IP6".
